BROADCAST RANGE

KGSB-FM, Marysville’s Community Micro FM Radio Station broadcasts at around 6W of FM power; transmitting on MHz

Modulation system: FM; Frequency offset: +/- 75KHz; Output impedance: 50 ohm; Harmonic radiation: < -55dBc; Pre-emphasis delay: 50uS; Degree of separation: 40dB; Input level: -13dBV.

With our basic antenna, we can reach approximately 1 mile to 4 miles from our transmitter location.

However, keep in mind that buildings & hills can block the signal. FM signals are line of site.


 Provided below are general range maps of where our signal can be heard. We have a map for .5 mile, 1 mile, 2 miles & 3 miles.

In general, the communities of North Marysville, southern Arlington & southern Smokey Point will have the best signal on the east side of Interstate 5, and you should be able to enjoy Radio 1 with a Moderate signal in other parts Parts of Marysville, Tulalip, Arlington, & Smokey Point as well.

Points north of WA530, west of John Sam Lake,  south of  WA528, & east of US9 will have an extremely hard time tuning in our signal due to the environmental surroundings around the transmitter site. Green represents best listening area. Yellow represents good listening area. The red represents the further reaches of the signal.
